A very high-yielding, medium-late hybrid from the Dutch firm 'Bejo Zaden'. The duration of vegetation is about 120-125 days. It matures about 2 weeks later than 'Pablo' H. The roots are of very high quality, round, uniform in size, dark red in colour, and are not prone to the formation of blossoms with hardened bundles. The skin is smooth, smooth and soft. The flesh is dark red, purple in colour, without concentric rings, juicy, with an exceptionally sweet flavour. The foliage is luxuriant and highly resistant to disease. "Rhonda H', like 'Bettollo H', accumulates the most sugars compared to other round beetroots. Its sweet taste makes it ideal for juicing. It tolerates moisture deficiency well and is resistant to fungal diseases, especially leaf brown spot (cercosporosis). When sown early, it is characterised by its resistance to the formation of veins. Suitable for fresh consumption, canning and very long storage. The flesh does not darken, remains homogeneous in texture and does not change in flavour, even during extremely long storage.
